Epoxy coated steel tank

Apro Industrie designs, manufactures and installs epoxy coated steel tanks for industrial and municipal applications worldwide.

Epoxy coated steel tanks are made of sheets that are bolted together, and water tightness is provided by a highly resistant silicone or polyurethane mastic sealant applied between the sheets. It is a competitive, long-term technical solution for process water and waste water storage.

 

The epoxy coating of the tank sheets is done by Galglass Ltd, our parent company. Established in 1979, Galglass Ltd has been designing and manufacturing steel tanks for more than 30 years. Galglass is ISO 9001:2000 accredited.

 

The coating of steel panels with an epoxy powder is a long and strict process which includes 12 steps. Each plate follows a 200°C double fire process and a 1000V spark test guarantees the sheet long-lasting quality.

6-Drying ovens

7-First application of Epoxy coating applied to 60 μm MDFT
8-200° gas-fire stoving oven
9-Second application of the Epoxy and Polyesther coating applied to 60 μm MDFT
10-200° gas-fire stoving oven
11-1000V spark test
12-Packing
