Fire sprinkler bolted tank

Apro Industrie has been designing, manufacturing and installing sprinkler tanks from 10 to 4,000 m3 for sprinkler applications since 1987, mainly for companies specialising in automatic fire fighting systems, in France and worldwide.

Apro Industrie currently maintains more than 6,000 tanks for fire fighting use: sprinkler tanks, special risk tanks, fire hose systems, glycol storage tanks, etc.

 

The tanks are made of prefabricated galvanised sheets, (2500x1250 mm) bolted together on site to form rings. The tanks are fixed above ground on a concrete base specially designed to withstand the loads.

Water tightness of the tank is provided by a tailor-made prefabricated liner fitted inside the tank. The liner forms the tank base and walls and lies on a disc of protective polyester matting.

The self-supporting decking cover is made of corrugated sheets fixed with zinc tek screws on a galvanised mild steel structure. It maintains the water quality by providing protection from light and external factors.

Apro Industrie's sprinkler tanks comply with the APSAD, NF EN12845, UL and LPCB standards

A wide range of our tanks is also FM (Factory Mutual) approved

Sprinkler tanks are supplied with the following accessories as standard:

• Access ladder with safety cage
• Hydrostatic contents gauge
• Drain connection with valve
• Overflow connection
• 3 kW heater
• Shell access manway (lower side)

And also some pipework, with sizes on request, such as:

• Suction pipe with anti-vortex plate
• Test return pipe
• Filling pipe (with or without float valve, etc.)
  
  

Numerous other types of optional equipment can also be included, such as: external polyester paint, external cladding rails for thermal insulation, automatic heater control, etc.
