Technology
The technology of metallic bolted tank developed by Apro Industry is an alternative to concrete and welded tank solutions.
It offers a lot of advantages like:
- a more competitive price
- a very quick assembly not using important lifting equipments
- a reduced transport cost as the tank is a delivered in kit
- a bolted system which allow the tanks to be extendable and removable
From 10 to 25000m3, metallic bolted storage tanks is the right solution for various applications as fire water, drinking water, process water and industrial/municipal effluents.
Tank
Tanks are composed of several rings of steel sheets punched and packed in factory.
Depending on the application, the quality of the sheets will be in galvanised mild steel, in aluminium, in powder coated steel or in glass coated steel.
Various equipments and ancillaries are available upon request, such as : ladders, stairs, platforms and walkways, connections, man ways, mixing and aeration systems, cladding, insulation, control level etc… View tank ancillaries

Watertightness
Tanks can be watertight using different technologies:
Liner tank
The watertightness of the tank is made using a liner. Depending on the application, the liner can be provided in EPDM or reinforced PVC or XR5.and it is tailor made in factory at the exact dimensions of the tank.
This liner is made in one piece and is covering the tank wall and the concrete floor. Polyester matting is added underneath the liner to protect it from the concrete base.
Using this system, the concrete base (at client's charge) is only holding the tank down.
Mastic tank
The watertightness of the tank is made using a mastic sealant applied between the sheets. Depending on the application, the sealant can be provided in polyurethane or silicone.
Using this system, the concrete base (at client's charge) is holding the tank down and is directly in contact with the liquid stored. It is then important that the type of concrete poured is adapted to the quality of the liquid.
